Used in garden living areas, steps, landings, tree bases, planter bases, between stepping stones, roadsides, intersections, borders and curbs.

  • Chemical Structure: Acrylic resin

Color: Transparent White, Transparent after use

Mixing Ratio: Ready to apply - Single Component

    Density: ~1.05 g/cm3

    UV Resistance: Strong

New Coat Application Time: Second coat applied by spraying after the first coat has dried

    Application Area: Indoor and outdoor

    Application Temperature: 10°C - 35°C

    Viscosity (mpa.s at 25°C): 20-50 mPa.s

Full Curing Time: Varies depending on ambient temperature and application method.

  • It prevents stones from mixing and creates a decorative appearance.

Thanks to its superior polymer structure, it does not soften even at 50°C. It maintains the stabilization of the stones.

It is recommended that the stone sizes used are between 5-15 mm. With larger stones, the contact surface area of the stones will change, which may cause weakness in adhesion. For larger stones, the use of TaşStop SLV is recommended.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

    Prevents possible stone damage.

Easy to apply. Prevents moss formation.

Prevents staining. Makes stone surfaces semi-glossy.

    UV resistant. Permeable.

Suitable for use around plant bases as it does not contain toxic chemicals.

More suitable for decorative use. For areas with pedestrian traffic, TAŞSTOP ULTRA SLV is recommended.

  • Stone Stop should be applied to clean and dry stones. Therefore, a period of good, rain-free weather before application is important. Old stones may be dirty, contain debris, and new stones may have silt deposits from the quarry. A dirty layer on the stone surface will prevent effective bonding. Before applying Stone Stop, dirty stones should be washed with plenty of water to allow the mud to run off. Afterwards, they should be allowed to dry before application.

Stone Stop is ideal for stones with a diameter of 5-15 mm. Even larger stones up to 20 mm in diameter can be bonded with Stone Stop, but their functionality will be compromised. (This applies to areas without regular pedestrian traffic, pet damage, and concerns about children's health and safety, etc.) Compared to tumbled or natural round stones, mosaic-style stones with broken corners fit together more securely and perform better.

For a strong bond, ensure the aggregates are clean and dry. We recommend using stones with a diameter of 4 mm to 8 mm for best results. If the surface will receive pedestrian traffic, the maximum stone size should be 10 mm. Pouring Method: It is recommended to apply 1 liter per m² to completely cover the stones. A watering can can be used to ensure even distribution. Before using the watering can across the entire area, ensure that the desired coverage rate per m² is achieved. During application, mixing with a rake will help distribute the resin evenly across the stone surfaces for homogenization. For a completely solid surface, 2 coats are recommended. For the second coat, no mixing is required; simply spray from above. Allow TaşStop to dry for 24 hours between coats; otherwise, there is a risk of excessive moisture. TaşStop should not be applied in harsh weather conditions. Rain after application will wash away TaşStop and reduce its adhesion. TaşStop will continue to gain strength for up to 5 days after application. Oversaturation is a primary problem. Since it dries in the air, applying too much TaşStop will leave the surface damp and unadhered. For the strongest surface, it is recommended to apply a second coat by spraying after the pouring method. Before applying the second coat, ensure the first coat is completely dry. It should be noted that if both coats are applied using the spray method, the surface will be limited in terms of pedestrian load and will only be suitable for decorative use.

Spray Method: TaşStop can be applied using a standard garden pump sprayer. Pour TaşStop into the sprayer and spray it homogeneously by directing the pressure onto the surface. We recommend using 500-700 milliliters of resin per m2 with this application method. 5 liters can cover 7-10 m2 in a single coat. We recommend applying 2 coats for best results. In spray applications, it will be difficult for the resin to reach the lower layers. After the first coat, the stones should be mixed by turning them over with a rake, and spraying and mixing should continue until no dry areas remain on the aggregate surfaces. Ensure that a 24-hour interval is left between the first and second coats; the second coat should only be applied by spraying without in-situ mixing. Mixing Method: The mixing method is the most robust and efficient method for resin utilization among application methods. Before applying the stone mixture, ensure the base is solid. Hard surfaces or existing pavements are best. If application is to be done on soil, a 5-7 cm thick layer of resin-free crushed stone should be laid under the decorative stones to create a cushioning layer. It is recommended to apply the resin-mixed final stone mixture to the filler at a thickness of 20-30 mm. StoneStop and stones are mixed using a drill or shovel. After mixing, check that all stone surfaces are thoroughly wetted with resin. If the mixture is ideal, the laying process can begin. After laying, a leveling tool can be used to smooth the surface of the stones. Then, the process should be completed by pressing down with a plaster trowel (alternatively, the surface can be tapped with a trowel). After application, the product should be allowed to cure for 48-72 hours. After curing, spraying a thin layer of StoneStop onto the surface will increase surface strength.

    Consumption:

    Pouring method: 1 kg/m2

    Spraying method: 500 - 700 gr / m2

Mixing method: 3%-5% of stone weight

    • Surface problems may occur in applications performed in environments below +5ºC and above +35ºC.
    • Application surfaces must be dry and clean.
    • Adjacent areas must be protected from TaşStop during application. TaşStop, designed with high adhesive strength, will adhere to different surfaces if care is not taken. Therefore, masking before application is important. Application should be carried out according to the specified application characteristics.
