What is BASF® Elastopave®?
BASF® Elastopave® is the name given to the stone carpet coating system created with selected aggregates of Elastan® resins produced by BASF®, a leading German chemical industry company. Elastopave® is a registered product of BASF® and can be called by different names in different countries. Isopave® is a permeable stone carpet surface coating system created by stones combined with Elastan® resins, produced in Türkiye. The system prioritizes the permeability and sustainability aspects of the product rather than its decorative features.

It is a perfect, structural landscaping solution that is achieved by using the principle of binding together suitably crushed aggregate stone mixtures with polyurethane resin.
Thanks to the mixture of the selected stone with the qualified Elastopave® resin, the surface has many interconnected voids and therefore a strong coating with a high degree of permeability. When the appropriate permeability is provided in the lower layers, rainwater can be effectively filtered and reach underground water resources. Optionally, with special inclined substructures, flowing water can be stored in rainwater tanks or transferred directly to the drain.
Elastopave® can be easily used on durable and non-aqueous surfaces, roads, plazas, parking lots or gardens with its water-permeable and durable structure. It is a very solid source of inspiration for your creativity. Aggregates bonded with Elastopave® can be used not only for roads and driveways, but also for all applications where crushed stone or gravel must be bonded tightly. Elastopave® can be used in interior spaces as well as exterior spaces.

In BASF® Elastopave® stone carpet application, it is normal for stones that are not fully bonded to the surface to loosen and there is a risk of these stones separating from the surface when hung on it. If there are places where stones have loosened from the surface (reason: wet stones or rain during installation), they can be sprayed with diluted Elastopave® binder.

BASF® Elastopave® stone carpet surfaces can be cleaned with high pressure cleaners. For snow removal purposes, only hand tools with an elastic lower edge made of material should be used. (e.g. rubber or other synthetic materials)
