Isovert Vertical Resin Powder
Product Description
In addition to horizontal applications, Isopave® stone coating can also be applied on vertical surfaces. Our powder resin used for vertical applications is combined with Elastan® 120/S. Thanks to its more viscous resin structure and application with special primer, it provides a stronger adhesion to vertical surfaces. It does not cause shedding problems due to gravity during application and after drying.

It facilitates easy mixing with resin.
It does not alter the color of the stone.
It thickens the resin to allow it to stand vertically.
It can be used with BASF ELASTAN 120 S and ISOBIND POOL 2K resins.
It functions as an anti-caking, anti-moisture, free-flowing, gelling, dispersing and thickening agent.
Depending on the application area, 1.5-2 units of ISOVERT should be added to every 1 unit of the selected resin by volume. The mixture should be homogeneous and a paste consistency should be obtained. The resulting paste should be applied in a thin layer to the pre-cleaned and dried application surface using a spatula, approximately 500g, and left for 10 minutes. Pre-prepared, dust-free, and dry stones should be placed in a bucket. 5.5-6.5% of the stone weight in paste (this varies depending on the selected resin) should be added to the bucket. The mixture should be stirred with a mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After lubricating the trowel with Isopave Trowel Oil, a small amount of the prepared stone and resin mixture should be taken onto the trowel and pressed onto the application surface from bottom to top to adhere the stones. During the process, the trowel should not be moved too much over the stones, it should be lubricated frequently, and the application should start and end at a specific point. Depending on the air temperature, curing is completed within 24 hours; however, for areas that will be directly exposed to water, such as swimming pools, it is recommended to avoid contact with water for a minimum of 48 hours.
Consumption: The amount of resin used is 1.5-2 times the volume, depending on the air temperature. The amount used increases in hot weather and may decrease slightly in cold weather.
- A mask must be worn when removing the product from the bag and during use.
- Since stone carpet application creates a permeable surface, it is recommended that waterproofing be done before application in pool areas and areas with living spaces underneath.
- Surface problems may occur in applications carried out in environments below +5 ºC and above +35 ºC.
- Application surfaces must be dry and clean.
- Application should be carried out according to the methods recommended in technical bulletins.
- After partial use; the packaging should be tightly closed.
- Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided; in case of contact, wash with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
- The product should not be in contact with water during the drying time.
- Equipment should be cleaned immediately after application, before it hardens.
- Empty packaging should not be used to store food or drinking water.
- Safety and Health Warnings:
- Protective goggles, clothing and gloves should be worn.
- Contact with skin, eyes and clothing should be avoided.
- The product should be prevented from spreading to the environment.
- Eating, drinking, and smoking should be avoided during use.
- All packaging and containers should be carefully packed to minimize spills.
- Containers should be kept tightly sealed when not in use.
- Keep away from heat, sparks, flames, and hot surfaces.
- Do not carry broken packages without protective equipment.
- Empty bags should not be reused.
- If clothing becomes soiled, it should be removed immediately and washed before reuse.
- The product should be stored in clearly labeled containers.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep away from food, beverages, and animal feed.
- Storage should only be in the original container.
- Containers should be stored upright in a cool, well-ventilated place, tightly closed.
- Containers should be protected from damage.
