Basf® Elastan® 119 Aromatic Based Single Component Polyurethane Resin

Product Description

BASF® Elastan® 119 is a solvent-free, filler-free, and transparent 1K aromatic polyurethane adhesive. It is a moisture-curing adhesive for bonding stone and mineral aggregates. Thanks to the resin's special formulation, it can serve as a stone binder for decades. It is important to remember that complete infrastructure preparation is required for this.

BASF® Elastan® 119 Aromatic Resin is chemically and physically resistant to UV rays and only causes surface yellowing. Apart from yellowing, there is no loss in the resin's bonding structure. Aromatic resins offer significant cost savings during application, and yellowing is minimized when used with warm-colored stones. Over time, as the surface wears down (6-12 months depending on usage), the stones regain their original color.
